Carpinteria Valley Water District is developing a reliable local water supply project, the Carpinteria Advanced Purification Project (CAPP). On June 25th, the District considers whether to fund CAPP through a fixed charge on customer water bills or a new charge on property tax bills. When making this decision, the District will consider public comments.

PROVIDE COMMENTS online using the CAPP Public Comment Form and ATTEND the public hearing on June 25th.

The District can’t know exact costs until it completes a cost-of-service study at the end of 2025. However, ESTIMATED water bill costs are available at https://cvwd.net/capp/public-participation-meetings/
